Headroom strives to be a safer space and we respect & welcome all aspects of people including race, sexuality, gender expression, social-economic background, age, religion, body ability or shape. We do not tolerate harassment, prejudice or discrimination of any kind. Our welfare team PHAT Bristol are situated in “The Dome” or Tea Tent during the day and on the move around site at night. If they are not visible, please contact any member of staff who will be able to assist you.
If you see someone misbehaving or being disrespectful – please kindly tell them to keep it together and respect the environment we are trying to create, if you feel comfortable to do so. Any other concerns please contact a member of staff. Any form of harassment will not be tolerated and offenders will be ejected immediately from site.
If you feel uncomfortable in any capacity or just need to chat, we are here for you.
QUIET ZONE
The Headroom camp Site is specifically set as a QUIET ZONE. Please be conscious that sleep and rest are very important elements within creating a safe and accessible place for everyone on site to enjoy their weekend within their means or ability to the same degree. If you are making a lot of noise there is likely someone who is feeling uncomfortable nearby.
Due to the size of the site, our small team of staff who keep the event running share the same camp site and depend on getting some rest between shifts to keep our space running safely so please respect this over the weekend.
SPEAKER BAN
Strictly NO SPEAKERS are prohibited anywhere on site. The use of any form of transportable or mini speakers is banned at Headroom and will be confiscated without discussion.
The perimeters of the property are much closer to neighbours than it may appear and all sound output and programming is carefully measured and timed to fit within our licensing while respecting others. Please do not let your friends mini rig set ruin the party or cause a noise complaint that could impact us in future years.
There are Void Acoustic sound systems in all provided spaces and we are lucky enough to host music on this beautiful farm with an active performance available on site 24/7 – If you want to stay up please do so in a permitted area. 🙂
On site parking is available and you will be ushered to the correct field upon entering the festival. You will be able to leave your car here for the duration of the weekend and it is easily accessible if you need to leave anything there for storage purposes.
Camper vans are welcome as a camping alternative. Anyone who is driving a camper van on to site is welcome to park in the same area with cars. Please be conscious that this part of the site resides closest to the neighbours so please do not spend after hours in the car park or by people’s cars, and please avoid using car radios for music.
The Party will be hosted at Three Pools permaculture farm. Three Pool’s is an active project where the main focus is sustainability and land-care, and together, with your help, we will be doing all we can to make as little impact on the land, wildlife, and local ecosystems as possible. The policies below have all been created to reduce waste, limit damage and create harmony between events and the land.www.threepools.co.uk
Waste
We expect you to respect the farm and “leave no trace”. There will be sufficient bins provided to each group on entry for waste & recycling, please help us by using these frequently and take any rubbish from your campsite to the categorised refuse points provided whenever possible. Please also refrain from leaving any camping materials on site on exit.
Safety
Three Pools is a fully operating and active farm, there are hazards to you, others and the livestock. Please respect this and keep an eye out for each other. If it looks like your off the beaten track then please tread carefully. Do not enter any locked or clearly non recreational spaces at any time.
No Glass
No glass is permitted at Headroom. It’s nice to walk barefoot for a moment if you need to, and long may this continue. There are children, babies, dogs and other livestock living on site, please consider this and decant your liquids on entry.
No Balloons
We have a 0 tolerance policy to the use of balloons & canisters on site. These are anti social prohibited items that are not biodegradable and do significant harm to the local wildlife if swallowed and severely impact land and soil quality.
Smoking
Please at all times and places use the ashtrays provided and try to encourage others to do the same. Cigarette and rolly ends are heavy pollutants, we have a lot of animals on the farm and we don’t want any of them getting a taste. Your assistance is hugely appreciated.
There are NO CASH POINTS on site! Please ensure to make your withdrawals before travelling. Do not rely on any cash points in the local area as we are often unsure how many are in operation. Note: Collection routes from the train station do not pass the town centre unless instructed to do so.
Headroom is a strictly 18+ event. We operate a challenge 25 policy and ID will be requested regardless of this in order to validate your ticket upon entry. There will be strictly no entry to anyone under the age of 18 as a punter, crew, performer, or accompanying a performer.
